The Education Bureau (EDB) organised a Mainland exchange programme for students, entitled “An Exploration into the Arts and Culture in Beijing (2023/24)” (the Programme). The Programme aimed to enhance students’ understanding of Beijing’s development in arts education and its artistic and cultural characteristics, and develop students’ interest in arts and cultural activities. Students explored the school life of Mainland students specialising in arts so as to think about their life planning and future pursuit.
10 Students from S4 and S5 visited Dashanzi Art District, Central Academy of Fine Arts, National Centre for the Performing Arts and Former Residence Of Song Qingling etc during the trip. This trip to Beijing provided students with a rich cultural and artistic experience, allowing them to gain an in-depth understanding of Beijing’s history, traditional crafts and artistic development.
