Students from the STEAM team at our school participated in the ""Hong Kong Schools Drone Challenge"" organized by ASK IDEA on 14 December 2024. The team members include Yu Pak Yin (Loyal Three), Leung Ho Ching (Honest Two), Leung Ching Hang (Honest Two) and Cheng Yu Fung (Honest One).
Over 80 schools joined the Drone Challenge, many with years of related experience. After three months of training, though the four students faced strong opponents, they performed steadily in both the ""Remote Control Racing Team Competition"" and the ""Programming Obstacle Avoidance Challenge,"" completing all tracks in a very short time and achieving Level 1 certification. They also won second place in the ""Remote Control Racing Team Competition"", outperforming the results they attained in their training.
