Our school produced an English musical called 'Thirteen' during the summer holiday. It was shot as a film and was successfully played on 26th October. In 'Thirteen', Evan Goldman (played by Honest 6 Chanze Zhou) is about to turn thirteen, and he is in dire need to have the coolest Bar Mitzvah in New York City. However, following his parents' divorce, he has to move to Appleton Indiana. The New York kid navigates the complicated social circles in his new school of this small town and encounters numerous challenges along the way. Our teachers and students enjoyed watching the musical. Students participating in the musical production were satisfied with their spectacular achievement. We believe that students' interests towards learning English can be enhanced through musical and drama in education.
